Meet the BreatheBuddies — drawn from the heart.
Each BreatheBuddy began as a hand-drawn sketch from our children and their friends — a simple way to show how calm, creativity, and curiosity grow together.
We later brought them to life in color, keeping every original line and feeling.
Every Buddy represents a small piece of natural awareness: how to breathe softly, stay balanced, and rest peacefully.

Mo the Cow — Gentle Strength
Mo reminds us that calmness doesn’t mean stillness — it means steady energy.
She teaches us to stay grounded, peaceful, and kind.
Practice: “Slow Grazing Breath”
Sit quietly together.
Breathe in softly through your nose and feel your belly expand, then exhale slowly through your nose, letting your shoulders drop.
Just like Mo grazing calmly in the sunshine.

Coco helps us balance energy and rest.
He’s patient, observant, and always ready to listen before he acts.
Practice: “Wave Breath”
Breathe in through your nose as your belly rises, breathe out as it softens.
Imagine your breath moving like calm waves.
Coco says: “Every wave has its own rhythm.”

Ellie shows that breathing doesn’t need effort — it’s already part of our body’s wisdom.
Big, calm, and kind, she reminds us that strength begins with softness.
Practice: “Trunk Stretch”
Inhale gently through your nose and raise your arms like a trunk.
Exhale slowly through your nose as you lower them.
Feel how every movement connects to breath.

Gigi helps us notice how breathing and posture belong together.
When we sit tall, the air flows easily, and our thoughts become lighter.
Practice: “Tall Breath”
Sit up straight with your lips closed.
Inhale softly through your nose as if you’re growing taller, then exhale slowly while staying relaxed.
Gigi reminds us that “Every calm breath helps us stand a little taller.”

Owi brings nighttime calm.
He listens to his breath before sleep and watches the world slow down with quiet curiosity.
Practice: “Night Calm”
Before bed, close your lips and take three slow breaths through your nose.
Notice how your body feels heavier, softer, and ready to rest.
Owi whispers: “The quieter you breathe, the calmer you grow.”

Why We Practice
Each Buddy teaches a different way to feel calm, balanced, and connected.
Together, they remind us that awareness grows best through play and presence.
When children — and parents — explore these moments together, they learn to find calm not by trying harder, but by breathing softer.

The BreatheBuddies were imagined and drawn by children, whose creativity inspired the colors, shapes, and stories you see here.
They remind us that mindfulness begins in small moments — and every calm breath is a creation in itself.
